The Mellinger Memorial Scholarship was established by the Montgomery County Women's Fair committee in 2005. This scholarship is named for our committee member, Ronnie Mellinger (1935-2004), who was an integral part of the planning committee from its early inception. Funds for this scholarship are generated through donations from the public and the award is presented annually at the Montgomery County Women's Fair.

Scholarship Criteria:

“A matriculating or continuing Montgomery College female student with a “C”or better grade-point average who has made a contribution to the community.”

To Apply for the Mellinger Scholarship:

All applications are processed through the Montgomery College Foundation, 900 Hungerford Drive, Suite 200, Rockville, MD 20850. Please indicate that you are applying for the Montgomery County Women's Fair Mellinger Scholarship. Scholarship funds are based on available funds, after expenses, and are awarded through the Montgomery College Foundation.
