Founders
Award:
Presented to a member of the MCWF planning
committee who has provided leadership, superior
support and performed service and dedication
to the goals of the MCWF. (Is not given
every year.)
Alpha
Award:
Presented to a women who is living in Montgomery
County or is from Montgomery County and
has been a first in her field. (Is not given
every year.)
Pioneer
Award:
Presented to an individual or organization
that has made a major contribution to women
in general, and/or to women in Montgomery
County. (Is not given every year.)
Financial
Award:
Given to an organization that serves the
needs of women in our community. Examples:
a women's shelter, program for incarcerated
women, services provided to women working
their way back into the work place, etc.
The amount of this award is based on funds
available, historically ranging from $500
to $2000.
